New Lessons – Bottle-to-Bottle Honey Production | Contactless Beekeeping

Thanks, Dr. Stefan Stangaciu for sharing this very thought-provoking video in the international Beekeepers / Apitherapist WhatsApp Group, – Apitherapy Network.  I urge my international, and local beekeeper friends, to take a peek at it, I trust it bears significant insights and can propel you along your beekeeping journey ……

Even for the seasoned beekeeper this video harbors intriguing insights too.

This very interesting method of beekeeping, perhaps easier practiced by non-professional /non-commercial beekeepers….. hobbyist beekeepers.., yet even for the seasoned beekeeper it harbors intriguing insights too.

There are many interesting things in the video and system that can be used including

  • no need  for smokers and thus less contamination of honey, beeswax, and propolis with the smoke particles
  • possibility of performing “biopsies” to collect very small amounts but the top quality extracted honey, bee pollen, bee bread, Apilarnil, or royal jelly you need, without disturbing the bees;
  • easier regeneration of the colony through splitting;

I strongly urge my international, and local beekeeper friends to watch the video several times, to understand how this system works, and then, as Mr. Egorov said, in the video, try to replicate it in your circumstances, albeit also explore using locally available materials!

Beekeeping is all about innovation, with sensitivity,  to bee behavior.

It would be a delight to see in the comments what innovation lessons you wish to share from the beekeeping journey.
